Windows 1.3.1 notes →
macOS 1.5
  • Determines the UDP network interface from the active TCP connection's local IPv6 address and applies the matching IPv6 scope.
  • Recreates each connection's UDP socket with the TCP local IPv6 address and interface, preserving the negotiated UDP port on reconnect.
  • Keeps left and right UDP routes independent and prevents incoming datagrams from replacing the negotiated destination.
  • Logs full IPv6 interface zones, rate-limits repeated UDP send errors, and reports when sending recovers.
  • Includes automated UDP send, receive, and reconnection tests. Resolution of the reported cross-screen freeze still requires real-device confirmation.
macOS 1.4
  • Routes UDP pointer movement and scrolling through the same network interface and IPv6 scope as the active TCP connection.
  • Fixes intermittent missing pointer movement and No route to host errors on Macs with more than one network interface.
  • Makes dynamic DeskJoin diagnostic messages readable in macOS Console instead of hiding their contents as private data.
macOS 1.3
  • Adds a Pair List for reviewing trusted computers and their key fingerprints.
  • Lets you remove one pairing or all pairings, disconnect affected devices, and clear their automatic connections.
  • Adds anonymous success counts for completed pairings and connections using random event IDs; computer names and key fingerprints are not sent.
  • Queues and retries pending success counts without interrupting control or discovery.
macOS 1.2
  • Connection and operational errors no longer interrupt you with warning dialogs.
  • Failure details remain available in the diagnostic log while discovery and automatic reconnection continue.
  • Required secure-pairing confirmations and macOS approval prompts are unchanged.
macOS 1.1
  • Improves cursor hiding when control crosses from the Mac to another computer.
  • Restores the cursor and the previously active app more reliably when control returns.
  • Makes remote two-finger trackpad scrolling feel faster and more responsive.
  • Stops scrolling promptly by discarding stale momentum events while keeping mouse-wheel steps immediate.
macOS 1.0
  • Initial public release for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 11 or later.
  • Connects an independently paired computer on the left and right with separate mutual TLS 1.2 sessions.
  • Discovers nearby computers with Bonjour, verifies TCP reachability, and reconnects remembered devices automatically.
  • Moves the pointer through either joined screen edge and supports bidirectional keyboard, mouse-button, double-click, movement, and scrolling input.
  • Uses low-latency session-bound UDP for pointer movement and scrolling while reliable control and button events use TLS-protected TCP.
  • Supports multi-display desktop edges, macOS-like remote pointer acceleration, DPI scaling, and fractional movement accumulation.
  • Restores local control safely on disconnect and provides Option+Shift as an emergency pointer recall shortcut.
  • Adds launch at login, diagnostic logs, bug reports with attached logs, and signed Sparkle software updates.
