Copy files or folders, then paste into a destination folder on the other computer. File contents transfer when you paste, with progress and cancellation controls.
File sharing is an early feature. Both devices need compatible file-transfer support; Windows Explorer destinations and macOS Finder interoperability are still undergoing validation.
A familiar workflow
Two computers.
One easy habit.
DeskJoin Clipboard connects devices directly on your local network. Keep both computers connected to the same Wi-Fi access point or Ethernet network.
Open Clipboard on both computers
Run DeskJoin Clipboard on each computer. On Windows, it stays in the system tray.
Choose your nearby computer
On Windows, right-click the tray icon and select “Connect to …”. Previously selected devices can reconnect automatically when discovered again.
Copy, switch, paste
Once connected, copied text and images update the other clipboard. For supported file sharing, copy files and paste into the destination folder on the receiving computer.

The current Windows version requires IPv6 on your local network. Allow local-network access if Windows Firewall asks. You can disconnect from the system tray whenever you want to stop sharing.
Use a trusted local network: the current transfer protocol does not provide end-to-end encryption or device authentication.
